From the seventh year of Yongle (1409), he began to be the Changling tomb in May, until the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Chongzhen, was buried in the tomb. Over 230 years, 13 tombs of emperors, seven tombs of concubines, and one eunuch were built. A total of 13 emperors, 23 queens, 2 crown princes, more than 30 concubines, and 2 eunuchs were buried. As of 2011, Changling, Dingling, Zhaoling and Shenlu have been opened.
