You can try, to turn the graphics down. And about logging in the regions it could be that:
1.Corrupted region files
2.Connection problems


Of course, it may turn out to be a different problem (or you have already solved it) but it's worth to try and check.

If they don't want to build towers (even though they have the conditions), you can always manually build a tower and force them to live/work in it And boom! The problem disappears.

I have suggestion about adding bridges to the game. I know there are bridges in TheoTown but what about bridges that you can build like the special category that automaticly builds a bridge e.g. I think it would be nice to have in game

You should read the rules for uploading plugins and then also carefully read what the moderators say to fix your plugin and then get them approved. This generally works for me.
