If you're talking about this plugin store, note that you cannot use it to install plugins since it's only preview of the published plugins. I recommend downloading plugins from the in-game plugin store.

Oh, I have the same problem right now. But maybe I have this problem because I decided to add "Korobeiniki" to the game's music files. And you may have an outdated device or just don't have enough space on it. Depending on which device you use, then in 2016 Theotown was only an Android.

Hey Jollyan, I have installed the plugin and extracted it into theotown plugin file. But when I open the game, an error occurs because the plugin format is not correct. Any suggestions regarding this? Thanks a lot

Just a graphical bug, just restart the game (close the game and open the game again) and it should fix itself.
