I think it's probably impossible as long as the developers don't include it in the region generator. I do think that a moon decal plugin might help you. Generate a regular map, replace grass with that moon decal. Problem is, I'm unaware of any moon decal plugins...

this is impossible you can only connect citys in the create region but the two citys will have the same city name

My city simply disappeared somewhere, I go into the game in the morning and see a java error, I missed it and go into my region with the city and see that it disappeared
