1) Can I improve Ukrainian translation on GitHub?

Sure, just edit it here. Did you send a crash report? Might be helpful to fix the issue if actually a mistake in the translation is the reason.

2) I installed ground desert plugin and on background there's screenshot with this plugin. How? I thought that there are preinstalled screenshots

We have a map generator so we use it 8)
Only the background on the start screen are screenshots.

It's a question I'm not really sure about. Till now we only added credit entries for the first person who finished a translation. It will be difficult to measure how much someone translated, so let's keep it simple.
