"bridge height" is not working

version:1.12.09p
It was supposed to look like this originally

- original, Bridges with a height of 4 pixels per level
,
but after updating the game, it ended up looking like this.

- Now, "bridge height" is not working, Each level is 12 pixels higher.
Is this a bug, or is' bridge height 'no longer available?

That option was removed in 1.11.98 as it should always match the terrain height step. See this forum post for justification:

Oh no

, this option was really useful for mitigating terrain slopes when paired with road decorations and for creating detailed modular buildings.

- As shown in the image, the gentle terrain slope.

- As shown in the image, road decorations can be placed inside this modular building to add architectural details (street lamps can also be placed to make the modular building emit light at night)

May I ask if it's possible to restore this option or add a new similar one? Thank you.

Using the "handle y" option for the bridge does not simultaneously decrease the height of vehicles moving across it or the height of the road embellishments. This option only impacts the texture of the bridge and road.
If this approach were viable, I wouldn't be asking.
