I've seen this mentioned in changelogs, but I've never seen one myself. Does anyone have any screenshots or videos of this? I'm very interested in what it looks like and how often they happen.

One update there were quite a few that would occur on any road. Enough to gridlock any map. They looked just like the car accidents someone made as a plugin. I would have to go around the whole city removing road decorations to clear them.

I think the probability of the accidents significantly rises when the traffic is heavy. I had one old highly jammed town and plenty of them appeared there. They can be removed using road decoration removal tool or they will just disappear on their own.

Also, having an emergency vehicle go into them will make them disappear.

This is a very rare event, honestly. Remember the Rocket Disaster? I never had that.

I forgot that even existed tbh.

Ive never had a car accident as far as i know, however i think something's going on downtown thats clogging up the traffic

I've seen some cars on my highways changing into other lanes and they suddenly slow down and then slowly accelerate again.

I came across about 5 in my 4 years of playing. They are EXTREMELY uncommon.

I think it happens when there are many cars in a place, it has never happened to me but it has happened to a friend.

Happened to me a while back I had a big city with country roads and a ton of traffic lol they are very very rare

In one uber town that i have, the industrial are is VERY dense (prolly cuz i was wanting supplies). For everyone its very uncommon but for me its SOOO COMMON in my area i have to check it every time to find them because the traffic keeps clogging.
I hope they make the emergency services remove them and warn abt the accident because its so unbeliavebly annoying.

If they are hard to find, try the remove road decoration view from the bulldozer icon. The car accidents are a road decoration.

Yeah i already tried finding it w/ your strat but its too dense and by the time i destroy one 3 others have appeared
I also have a good strat that is spectating a vehicle if your industrial area has high traffic because i found 90% of em this way My industrial (the buildings also do not help because i cant find them without destroying em
