Hello. First of all let me congratulate you for making such an amazing game (for android standards at least!). Really makes you wonder why there are so little great sim/strategy android games out there, considering you proved it's possible to make them!
Here are some suggestions I've come up with after being addicted to the game for the past few weeks...
1) Dirt roads.
Very low-cost, low-maintenance roads. Will only support the very lowest-level residential buildings and farms. Every other building (services, commercial, industrial, higher-level residential) would require at least a normal road. Why? Well, another option for roads when starting up (I always find most of my budget goes towards roads at the beginning) and to give that suburban city outskirt / farmland feel to certain areas of your town.
2) Expressways, traffic and noise
I understand expressways have the downside of not supporting buildings but I feel they really should add to the noise level of the town; alternatively, or adding to this, make traffic itself add to noise levels. Really high-traffic areas should indeed make a difference and it would really make it important to solve traffic problems in your cities.

I think in a big city (with the biggest buildings), there are so many people on one place, that there is always traffic jam (also in reality). If no one wants to live near a road with some traffic jam, than no big cities are possibleaenariel wrote:2) Expressways, traffic and noise

If this will be implemented, hundred of road plugins will need a new coding, which if not done immediately, the plugins will be totally useless. That's hours of efforts put to waste. Also, better roads are just like the dirt road, except they are faster and bigger. Having four lanes everywhere (since you needed too) would make the game area feel small. You are like suggesting that the road system of the game will be like the SimCity style. Going to the Simcity-style road system (a.k.a you need 4 lanes in a big city, constant road upgrade, etc.) would make the game bad, for me..aenariel wrote: ↑22 Apr 2016, 16:33Hello. "Noise in traffic, expressways..."- Noise in expressways is good idea, but having noise in traffic would make the game impossible. Because even in a small town, you can still some orange or yellows. Take note that you cannot build advanced roads without getting a high-enough rank, which is very hard to get, since you needed like 10,000 pop. just for the 6th rank. No joke.
" Farms.."-Yeah that's great. I dont think I need an explanation.

5. That's impossible, since actually, the world texture can't be even increased.
6. That might happen, but it will be soon, since everyone barely got time..
7. If counted as commercial/parks/sport/decoration, then good. However if its a new category, then no, since specializations will not suit the game.
8. The trade between local cities is a good idea, and its possible. However, about other players, its not possible.

Specialized roads can be done right now even with plugins, and no, it won't break every road plugin.
World texture CAN be increased, but then TheoTown would be laggy on older devices. It is bigger than it was in 2015.
