By the way, @Lobby , have you thought about the suggestion of making two line-tools for the hills? I'm pretty sure, that would work.

Let's say you draw a simple straight line from bottom-left to top-right of the screen.Linetool A then shows the frontside of a hill while linetool B would show the backside of a hill. Starting from there the game would always know which pieces to show when you rotate the map. With these two linetools you could make any kind of hill or hole you want.
