The grid builders will remove much that exists in their path (so plan ahead before using!) except water and the freebuilt road they build. Also, they build pipe and underground wires. The process will cover uneven terrain, but the road is only built on flat sections.
The shoreline road builder only builds the freebuilt road along the shoreline and nearby islands. You will have to optimize the results.
Also a water road and a water alley that build as a road, but place water instead.
The freebuilt road is slower than the in-game dirt road and uses the same graphics. Thanks Lobby!
Built a grid 15 here, then water road, then waterfront park, then stopped it on one end. Result is a floating circulating energy supply! It won't stop as long as it is a complete island with no bridges....<-- secret message

Well, anyway, here is an updated version: contains a road to place on the freebuilt roads to convert any connected to it to country roads after 27 days construction time. This process will break bridges crossing over, remove bus stops, and make nearby citizens unhappy during that time.
