Altrough already exists street lights in road decoration section, maybe could be a option that can allows enable and disable, clicking in the wire pole, of the energy section. Of course that this would cause a waste of energy depending of amount of light added, but only if it was enable by the user.

I say that because bigger countries and some areas of underdeveloped countries generally use them because the cost for underground poles are very expensive.

I forgot to quote too, the wire posts are only avaliable on lands, it would be necessary to approximate them to the street, because what would happen was that the lights would turn on outside of them. Here is a simulation I created.
