How happened it this time? Normally, it sets low color depth mode when loading TheoTown failed otherwise.
Currently, the only solution is to reset all settings from external. E.g. by going into Android Settings->Apps->TheoTown->Delete all data (maps won't be affected as they're stored externally).
Another way might be to reinstall TheoTown.
