So? You can't pretend that somethings didn't exist but you can learn from them.
The South was fighting for more than just slavery they were fighting for their rights as states as well because the northern states were suppressing the southern states rights
The north wasn't just fighting to abolish slavery,they were trying to reunify the south
Both sides were in the wrong but there is nothing we can do about either,but if we turn I blind eye just cause of what they stood for we are doomed to make the same mistakes they did
George Santayana once said,"Those who do not learn are doomed to repeat it."

p.s. I don't stand for slavery I think it is a wrong unthinkable crime against humanity,The Civil War didn't end slavery it still happens to day!It just happens in secret.
I also wouldn't of been able to do this plugin with out putting the Confederate flag in there.

Can I ask you another question: Why do you have the USSR insignia on your avatar they were communist monsters who suppressed,sent people to SLAVE labor camps, and killed?
The USSR's Leaders were fat and there people were starving that is one of the reasons why communism doesn't work
