Houses disappeared

Guys, please help. Went to theotown in the morning. I look, and half of my houses are simply gone, because of this, the population, earnings and so on began to fall

Did you gave the citizens services and park? Are they really unhappy? Check the demands, maybe they don't want residential zone.

they probably mean the buildings in their city disappeared but not sure

My guess would be either FVI's theory , or Commander Abab's theory.

Both have happened to me before , and my reaction was a puzzled and alarmed , " What?!?! "

If population declines enough , residential houses can empty , with zero residents, BUT the houses themselves do NOT disappear.

Umm , could be ? I'm in the habit of , the first few years , using the default plugin House for housing , which is default " untouchable " ,

Only later going back to bulldoze those houses and replace them with residential zone ,

When fluctuations in population typically are no longer a significant issue.

So , yeah , it is possible that due to the eccentric way I play the game , despite near 3 months playing , I have never encountered housing simply disappearing ???

( except for failed saves , and accidentally Uninstalled plugins , as already mentioned. )
