I can't restore my cities in the game.

Background: My phone broke a month ago. I developed a lot of cities on it. I bought a new phone and hoped that my cities were able to transfer but I was in for a failure. Can anyone tell me how and if it is generally possible to transfer cities from a broken device to a new one?

the only way to transfer cities is to plug your device (with the cities on it) to a computer and backup your cities to a computer.and then put them in the ccities folder on your other device(with out your cities)
