Reshaping the highways

Lobby can you reshape the side of highways above water? Maybe into pillars, cause I don't like when it looks like this:

And I don't like it because it's unrealistic to build a bridge like this, it's more like a wall than a bridge

Then the bridge will be easily destroyed by erosion

Maybe a high quality concrete + a bit of metal would stand

Reinforced concrete
Prestressed concrete
