That's strange. Your diamond count is bound to your Google Game Services account. Maybe here's the issue.
About the tutorial, we plan to remove it. People will directly start in an existing town when they open TheoTown for the first time so they can see how a city works.

You mean, Matison's city of Buteo? Or the other one?
