Problem with Diamonds

I know Diamonds can be earned when playing the game for a few minutes, and they are free. But I can't find any gift icon, so I cant get free diamonds.
Can someone please tell me the complete list of requirements?

Definetly not that. I collect them few times a day.
Yea, it should be appeared in few times depending on how long you play the game
