Region neighboring cities

Devs- question about region cities. Do they crossfeed population and RCI requirements? Like if I make a city of just residential does a neighboring city see a negative demand? And if not, is that planned for the future?

It's planned. For now, only 1% of the requirements from neighbor cities is used.

For example, if in city A is a need for 100 residents, neighbor city B will have a need for 1 residents because of the neighbor city (+it's own needs).

The way I was thinking is city A has 100 citizens who are unemployed. City B has 100 open jobs, city A would then have people travel to city B for jobs and satisfy unemployment.
