What exactly should be hidden? Without UI you won't be able to play

In version 285 you will be able to hide the UI:
If debug mode is enabled in the settings you will have an entry "Hide UI" in the game menu. After activating it, all UI elements will be hidden except for the menu button, which will then be semi-transparent. By tapping on it UI will be visible again.
