One of my cities turned into a hole/dirt block [v1.11.63a (11163), c2830*]

I made a city last night to connect to the first city I made. When I opened that city today to continue developing it, it's just gone. The entire plot turned into what looks like a hole or a dirt block? I can't Interact with the plot at all, i can't even reset it. I tap on the plot and nothing happens, no options appear.

Im an android use.

Here's a zoomed in version of the screenshot. But yeah, the city just looks like a plot of dirt or a hole. And I have no idea why

Would anyone be able to help me with this? I can't even reset the plot. Is there a reason why???

First turn on settings/other/debug so the game will show you the map file names when selecting a map. It looks like 7_5.city is your problem map

In the games' file manager, select regions.

Then select default, where Theonia would be.

Scroll down until you find 7_5.city. Here, you can choose to delete it or rename it for possible further use. If 7_5.city.backup exists, try renaming it to 7_5.city.

Now try resetting the game and see if the map is again available.

.store extensions would be even older backups if that doesn't work.

See above post. Why?, maybe the device got turned off before the save was complete, etc.

I wasn't able to restore the city, but I was able to reclaim the plot. Great guide, much appreciated!

And yeah, I think you're correct. I probably fell asleep in the middle of developing the city and wasn't charging my phone.

Pretty sure that's what happened.
