We have other lands not just iceland. We were also given some of Romania and all of moldova

so i just realised i dont have romania i have moldova and eastern slovakia as well as iceland

Iceland has over 20,000 km2 of sandy deserts with active aeolian processes. The sandy areas have black surfaces due to their basaltic origin, and the sand is often dominated by volcanic glass. The sand originates largely from glacial margins, glacio-fluvial deposits and volcanic eruptions, but also sedimentary rocks.

Slovak desert - Šranecké sands
The sand here brought the wind from the Morava River millions of years ago, giving this Slovak area an exceptional character. This area belongs to protected areas of European importance; there are several rare species of flora and fauna.
