Why does it take so long to accept plugins?

I just wanted to fix a plugin bug hoping it wouldn't take so long to be accepted and it's been there for over 5 days now 
Because the process of plugin approval is not automated and is done by humans. Each plugins has to check manually to ensure it meets the plugin store standard and rules. Also the moderators are all volunteers. So please wait
