I am always having problems with high traffic volume on the roads how can i stop this.

Sorry if this has been asked but i cant find anything to help.

I have tried all types of roads to see if it helps with no luck.

You see you cant just solve traffic by upgrading roads, you need to have multiple access points to areas, etc

One way roads carry a lot more traffic.

The less stopping cars do the better. The faster they reach their destination the better.

Sometimes there will be a lot of traffic in an area as the cars are moving around looking for a suitable destination.

Residentials need industrial and commercial destinations. And the same for the other two.

Mix up the zoning, so that they can reach a destination quickly. Or, provide a lot of highways and one way roads to carry the traffic.

One of the better ways to reduce traffic is to have bus stops available nearby all major residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. And build bus depots to service the bus stops. You need one bus depot for every 8- 16 bus stops.
