I have this problem when opening cities
Like rockford and other ones it says file could be damaged even tho it did open in the previous update
Pls help. I dont want to lose this big city
if it cant be fixed. Rip i have to recreate

I made burrito valley since 185, yet the file never got damage

And i have nothing to do to solve this

I tried recovering it, still doesnt work

This is so complicated that we need an computer expert to Fix it

I have these rockford city.store0 numbers and stuff
I also have these rockforc city.city.tmp
But theres no backup file

.store0 and .tmp files are also backups. Give them a try by renaming them to end with .city (after making a backup from all files).

former member, I suspect you cannot actually change all that stuff. Maybe on the surface, but after loading the city it will be set back. The readable header (json format, as always) is just for overall information so the city can be displayed within the region without loading all the contents. The contents themselves are compressed to save a lot of disk space.

You probably changed the length of the header... that's a problem as the first two bytes indicate the length for the header (in bytes). If the length changes you would have to adjust these bytes accordingly.

Every other backup files isnt, im still figuring what
Was the problem of why it doesnt work.
After it worked at the store3. Most of the buildings
Z the left side is gone but i may have just to
