Wait I unlocked city rank at 7.5000 inhabitants but then on the other side it says i have 14000, what? Why?

I'm sorry that it's not clearly indicated, yet. On the right side, you have now something like XP for your city. That means you have to earn XPs rather than getting inhabitants (which is not the same, as you get more XPs for rich inhabitants than for poor ones).

The transition into XPs is work in progress. We want to reward you for specific events with XPs. For example extinguishing a fire might give you some.
