There are already some road plugins in the showcase, you may use them for reference. For example here or here (I didn't select these roads on any specific purpose)

Roads without bridges or with only one bridge should not be affected.

The ones with 8s on the ground are air routes. The 8s are to find them. The 8s are not road, so any road, wire, or rail, but not bridge!, can be laid underneath.
