This is a tutorial for a compact 4 way interchange. My version uses highways but you can also use one-way roads and county roads.
The interchange is compact, can carry a heavy traffic load, cheap and is above all symmetrical. Steps below:

Ay yah, so more like an intersection lol, I must fix it to be an interchange

One like yours works, but the cars have to make three right turns to turn right and in over medium traffic situations, the traffic within the clover leaf will always be very slow.

I would expand it but then it might remove the whole "compact part". Maybe instead of using highways to connect the highways I use expressways. Either way its still back to the drawing board.
