Overcapacity

This idea isn't the most realistic one you'll see and I know that people will probably hate this idea, but what if when you run a power plant over it's maximum capacity for too long it turns into rubble. It might make situations like that more challenging.

That would be cool, maybe just for coal/nuclear plant, like if you run it above 90% for too long it will explode (coal plant just gets destroyed but nuclear plant causes explosion)

Both has been on our todo list for a long time:
1. Adding control to power production
2. Adding lifetime for power plants and water pumps

Lifetime? Meh, maybe your plants may break down and you have to pay to fix them?

I like the idea will be another reason to have nuclear plants away from everything

So do you mean I have to build a new one
After it breaks down in 20 years or so? :bq

Yes, that's the idea behind it. Or maybe the option to repair it, who knows...

Maybe a few days before it stops working you will get a message "There is a problem with _____, it will cost xT to fix" and if you dont it breaks

Why? No point in saying no and not giving a reason

That was just figure of speech, obviously it would be longer in game

But why?

It's helpful to give a reason because he can adjust it/change it to what you would prefer

Let him give his opinion. After all his 1 in 4 post carries more weight than your 1 in 1000+ reply.

All I ment is I wanted to know why he didnt like it, maybe it's something that can be adjusted and would be a good idea, for all we know it might be an epic idea but he didnt say it :D

I agree with the breakdown for years thing, but add repair please. Or just add warnings 3 years before the power plant will be completely unusable, so we can build another one.
