But if you are building a highway you can select the "1" option where the overpass, ect is and it will make a one way highway, then you can build 2 one way highways parallel to eachother, I used it on one of my bridges

The disable auto join option sounds interesting. It will definitely not the default behavior, as a lot of players wouldn't see that their roads aren't connected. We tested this in early versions and the feedback was :bb

Or you could look at my 2,4,6,8,10 in the showcase :).

They don't auto join. One two span allows crossing, the others don't.

It would be very useful, at least for me.
For the one way thing, I think plugins would be a good solution here because making roads to one ways is not always trivial. Auto join as a button is possible, but there's not much space left for buttons in the road tool... :space
