Does the building auto upgrade from house to bungalow when the city is more developed or I need to bulldoze the house to let it build a bungalow/ high rise building?

All buildings will be upgraded automatically if the environment is "correct" and there is enough space.

You do not have to buldoze a building

Will two buildings be upgraded into one big building?

perhaps, if there is enough place to build a bigger building.

In the new update you can see all houses even if they were never built. I picked a house from there but it doesn't let me place, so I do I place it?
And also having problems with traffic.
