1. We're not developing on machine code level, therefore it would be Google's and your OEM's task to do some optimizations. Mediatek processors tend to be for more budget oriented devices anyway, so don't expect them to perform as well as flagship processors.
2. It's not only about the processor, but also about the GPU and the amount of pixels it has to push onto the screen for each frame.
3. I've already put a lot of work into optimizations. So I suspect there's not much more I can do.
Can you give some more information about your device and Android version?
