Hi everyone, I just joined the community two days ago.

I was playing on a bigger map after few small city builds.
Evesrything was working fine until I hit the 20,000 population.
I seperated different zones and connect them via highway/intesrchange. However, the cars stop using the highway all the sudden. They either turn away or disappear on the entrance of each interchange( was working fine when the city is still small. ) I wonder would this be a bug or something wrong with my build?
its a pain not seeing any cars on highway aftervall the efforts.
please help

hi i think what you need add more conection whiti road and highway and too other class of conection. i later up any picture the my road's for what you see my idea.

Did you mean I need more interchange and exits on highway? I did a trial yesterday by connecting my two zones directly and the cars are using the highway normally, but the cars stop using the highway when I build another interchange. Perhaps something wrong with my interchange@?

If you are using the one lane icon to build parts of your interchanges, you have to remember to build in the correct direction.

so I cant just connect sections with one lane highway unless the direction is correct?? I'll remove all the highways and try it later

Yes, the direction of one lane roads goes from the start point to the end point. The most important parts to get right are the on ramps and off ramps of bridges. Their direction cannot be changed. Other sections direction can be changed by overbuilding with say a country road or country road bridge as the case may be in the correct direction.

You mustve had a disconnected highway, you better check first

I've noticed that a one-line highway is also a one-way highway. this makes me easily build a wrong direction but I cannot see. I guess you may encounter the same problem.
