Shop for plugins
I have an idea to create a shop for plugins so that you can in the game immediately install the plug-in

Re: Shop for plugins
You would probably have to restart the game, as with all software updates

Re: Shop for plugins
Maybe someone else could make a separate app for this purpose.

@KINGTUT10101 That would make no sense because the application would not be able to use the memory on the device, and after that it will be used to download plugins

What are you talking about? Of course the app would be able to access the memory of a device. How do you think TheoTown stores maps and regions? For the app it would be as easy as downloading a plug-in from a server and putting it into the plug-in folder.

Of course, but what I said is the next best thing.

Re: Shop for plugins
1) You wouldn't have to move any old plug-ins to the app. Users would submit what they want on the app. It might lead to some problems if we just start distributing peoples plug-ins from the forum on a separate app without permission, so if an app is made they should let the plug-in makers submit their plug-ins themselves.former member wrote: ↑07 Aug 2017, 00:28I don't like that idea
1) You should somehow move all the old plug-ins to this app
2) How Lobby said, it's hard to implement it to the game. I swear, almost nobody would download it as a separate app
3) How would you monitor plug-ins and copyright?
2) If that's so, than explain MCPE add-ons and their success. Like I said, until something is implemented into the base game this would be the next best thing.
3) That one might be a bit complicated, but if someone creates an app like that they should probably get Lobby to help manage what is posted on the app. Maybe plug-ins would go through a submission process like how it works with a lot of MCPE content apps. Usually, they'll take submissions via email, see if it breaks their rules, and add it to their app if everything looks good.

I don't/didn't know about that one (2) butKINGTUT10101 wrote: ↑07 Aug 2017, 03:341) You wouldn't have to move any old plug-ins to the app.

1) if you want make that people can upload there own plugin to the shop
I might be wrong but I think you need to pay for hosting or something (I really don't know)
2) about copyright lobby might not have time to search if it's made by him or copyrighted all the time
But still kingtut has some points
Maybe it's a good idea but I can't decide

Re: Shop for plugins
Unfortunately, a server based system probably would cost money, but it's the cleanest way of doing this as far as I've figured out. Another way of doing it is by adding new plug-ins through constant updates, but like I said, it wouldn't be very clean.
