Hi folks,
I have a suggestion that could make the screenshot section of the forum a bit more organized and useful.
My idea is inspired by some of the Simcity 4 community websites like Simtropolis etc. These usually had a section in which users could post their screenshots in threads which were dedicated to specific topics. For example: "Show your downtowns", "Show your harbors" or "Show your suburbs" etc.
I think, we should create such topic related screenshot threads for the Theotown Forum as well!
These threads could be quite interesting because they showcase a lot of different approaches to the same topic and you could hopefully get many new ideas for building your own cities. Also, it might motivate people to plan their cities more thoroughly and to pay even more attention to aesthetics in order to get nice screenshots

Some possible categories would be:
- downtown areas
- suburbs
- commercial areas
- industrial areas
- harbors
- airports
- rural areas
- beaches
...

So, I would like to make a poll about that idea.
Please leave a comment below, if you like or hate that idea or if you have any suggestions for additional categories or for improving this idea.

Great idea!
Maybe just bit more stuff for example:Military bases, infrastructures , enrgy sources etc

I like that idea
But organizing the screenshots will be a pain in the neck

By the way, I didn't mean that we should put all (existing) screenshots into these categories. I'm not sure, if this is what you meant, but maybe I was a bit unclear about that. So, let me emphasize:
The suggested categories should be an additional option beside the existing screenshot threads.
