buildings to help reduce noise

i'm thinking there should be certain public buildings to reduce the noise that residents and businesses so often like to complain about; more specifically, sound deafening wall tiles, the kind used on the sides of highways and such. i tried using parks to reduce the complaining of residents to noise; however, these don't work too well to reduce sound (rather they reduce pollution), and they take up quite a bit of space- so i think adding a single tile "wall panel" to put around industrial areas in order to reduce noise would be very helpful, simple and realistic.

are there really no thoughts on this? Is there another way that's similar to this besides adding large farms between industry and houses to resolve noise problems?

I know right?

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know how to lower the noise level.

I try to build Bus Depots, Police, Firefighters and such between industrial zones and other zones.

These (and perhanps other buildings also) are not that sensitive with noise and they block the noise, too.

Trees reduce the noise and polution. Usually you need to place 3-5 between industrial and other buildings. ;)
