What you call the zots, yeah.
But just temporarily

Kinda changed my mind. I've committed to only not buying those two towers.

Back to the topic, it seems reasonable that zots should be hidden when taking screenshots. Some city sims do hide zots when a picture is taken (I forgot whether SimCity does that).

Yep. The zots tell us what services are missing and where it's lacking. Having the game auto-hide the zots is much better than switching it on/off by yourself.

Build it on pause speed. Problem solved.

I think it's a good idea. I would add it as an button next to the untouchable button in building info.

Maybe turn them off when the menu interface is hidden. My opinion though is that screenshots should reflect the current state of the map.
