I'm thinking it could be a good idea to categorize buildings by architecture and/or location (as in European, Asian, American etc...) and letting you choose which style of buildings to be built, similar to SimCity 4. Some buildings can be categorized as neutral, being in all building styles, and plugin buildings should be categorized as neutral by default, unless you specifically state which style it is in the JSON.

Well you could make categories for that. Although I think its difficult to make it via plugins, and some people will have different opinions regarding about their style of architecture.

I think all buildings should use a tag system. That way we could search for buildings by name or tag. The tags could be stuff like German, American, Statue, etc.

I don't want different categories for different building styles, being able to choose it in a menu in each city is much neater and less cluttering.

I suggested it myself lol.

I forgot to add that you can choose to have multiple architecture/location styles in your city.
