Its the same problem with bridges, too! 
It got often metioned here in this forum but it was not changed yet, perhaps the developers have many other things to work on...

One way bridges are in beta 198 and 199.

You're right, we still use the same graphics for the one direction bridges, but at least they work as one direction roads.
