I got this on my phone too. Sometimes i got same picture, sometime minimap glitches. In few seconds all came to normal. I think it's because of autorotation.

This made me go XD

But seriously, I agreed with rare_metal. It's not just TheoTown, many other games would have the same glitch thanks to the Auto Rotation

You're not the first to discover this issue, but we have no idea what's the reason. Also we could not reproduce it, so we even cannot test whether some action fixes it or not
