Hello,
This is another building of the "Back From 85" Project, which will seek to bring back to life some buildings that disappeared due to the earthquake in Mexico on September 19, 1985.
The Maria Ana Mier Escandón building It was an apartment building located in the Central Axis of Mexico City. Since 1949, it was home to the famous "Super Leche" restaurant. The building had commercial premises on the ground floor, and another four floors of apartments. In total, there were 80 apartments inside and 7 commercial premises, including the Super Leche Restaurant. The building collapsed on September 19, 1985, due to the earthquake that occurred that day. Currently, there is a metro station and a garden on the site.

The Principado hotel was one of the most remembered hotels in Mexico City in the eighties, it collapsed due to the earthquake of September 19, 1985. Its history is quite unknown, It is only known that it was open between 1980 and 1982 and had approximately 90 rooms. To date, his history and record in Mexico City continue to be investigated.

The Hotel del Prado is one of the 49 most remembered demolished properties in Mexico City. It was an imposing building, located on the central Avenida Juárez, Colonia Centro - Zona Poniente, between the streets of Revillagigedo and Azueta, it had a privileged view of the Alameda Central, which attracted the immediate attention of visitors. In 1985 it collapsed due to the fateful earthquake that Mexico City experienced. The only thing that could be rescued was the Diego Rivera mural that was in the lobby, which allowed the birth of the Diego Rivera Mural Museum.
