Never got the point in minesweeper...

The point of minesweeper is to detect all the mines and not get blown up, you click the squares and if you get lucky you might get empty spaces and numbers indicating a mine is nearby.

If you think a square contains a mine you put a flag but you could be mistaken it for an empty square.

If you get unlucky, and its what happens most often you get exploded when you click on a square that contains a mine. And game over.
Its based on 80% luck and 20% skill well from my opinion.

If you are a bad player like me, and mostly is, you just click the squares randomly and uncover a mine, a minesweeper game could last only ten seconds or less if you click randomly.

A careful player might look at the numbers and try to determine if a square contains a mine, but a wrong click and game over.

Fast, deadly and simple.

in my opinion it's more like 80% skill and 20% luck. of course there are some 50/50 moves that you must make,
but most of the time you can look at the numbers and guess which tile contains and mine or not. there are also some patterns that you find after playing awhile (commonly on beginners mode). currently my favourite game as it's free and doesn't kill my weak computer.
