For RPG reasons i like to think this strait is located on the very other end of the world from us, therefore we can be unfamiliar with region geopolitics, which finally see enough stability and progress to make modern urbanisation possible, so You better start building! Also, for some weird reason, i picture sovereign mini city-state surrounded/neighbouring by local power/s here, and thats how im playing with this region...
