Copy paste area tool

I've searched the plugins for "copy" "paste" "clone" "duplicate" etc and searched Google far and wide.... But it seems there is nothing for copying and pasting and entire area.

I just spent many hours creating a perfectly functional 1/4 area of a large grid. I really don't have the inspiration to simply repeat that whole chunk 3 more times.

I installed a few plugins that implied that they provided this functionality, but they don't.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I think ian or Jeremiah have made plugins that do this. They might be on the plug-in store.
