Cant use the "Free"-Button (Watch Advertisments)

This is my first post and also my first really big problem. I can no longer get buildings through ads. I can't empty my cemeteries either, etc. I can't use the entire "Free" button (view ad), it has a slightly greyish background. Does anyone know what that could be?

Two possibilities:

1. Slow or no data connection at the time.

2. You are not logged in in any way. Such as Google play services, Theotown forum account, etc. Press the gear icon, and look for account in the menu to check if you are logged in.

Okay, for those who still have the same issue. I have manage to find the reason why my tablet cannot use the get them now button or play ads to get diamonds. Turn out it to be caused by private dns that blocked the ads. After disabling them. The problem solved.
