OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

basically I can't load all my huge cities(some are giant maps, some are custom regions made with console)

I tried to set the memory of Java to Xmx6144 (my pc have 8GB ram) or reinstalled the game but still didn't work
I don't have logs since the game didn't crash, it just pops this error when I try to load big cities

Do you have 64 bit Java installed? 32-bit Java can only address ~2G of memory.

thanks, after checking, I installed 32 bit java instead of 64 when I tried to update it
now it works
