Road Traffic

I wish there was a way to disable traffic on certain roads, rarely do I find this necessary, but I have backed up traffic in my "mine" because there's only one road, which I don't really even want down there but I need access for equipment. Is there a way to disable traffic on a particular road, or a workaround?

Yes, put barricades at the entrance to the road from the intersections.
