How to use transmission lines

I know I am an idiot for asking this but how do I use transmission lines they don't give electricity to houses and I can't find a tutorial on how to use them
I didn't know where to post this so I put it here lol

You need a power transformer to convert the high tension energy (transmission lines) to low tension energy (normal wires) to then connect it with the normal wires. Transmission lines can't directly supply buildings as they are designed to transport energy around rather than give it away, so try this one. I'm not sure (as always), but you might try it.
