National News
Hello, my name is Matthew McFly and I am the new TV presenter of the new National News program.
In the news today:
The Chernobyl disaster is 38 years of terrible tragedy, the Cemetery of boats - the scrap metal of ships on the high seas, A new metropolitan life - the large scale construction of a new residential complex in Kassandra.
All this is in today's program.
The Chernobyl disaster
Yesterday marked the 38th anniversary of the accident and evacuation at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Then, in 1986, on the night of April 25-26, Unit 4 of this nuclear power plant exploded, releasing huge doses of radiation into the atmosphere. In the morning, residents of Pripyat and Chernobyl were evacuated to safer places. However, four buses went to Tatlia, considering this country safer from radiation separation.
One of the survivors was a pensioner from Pripyat, Milos Buinakski, who worked at the nuclear power plant as an immigrant from Bulgaria. He now lives in the city of Belo-Notro and agreed to give an interview to our channel, which you will see tonight in the block at 19:00.
The Cemetry of boats
It is not uncommon to find abandoned yachts and catamarans off the coast of Tatlia, abandoned at sea after last year's summer season. And on April 24, a group of fishing vessels found a whole pile of iron and destroyed ships tied to each other with a net in the sea. Perhaps these ships were detached from the pier as a result of a severe storm.
A new metropolitan life
The famous construction company SK1 has begun construction of a large-scale residential complex on the outskirts of Kassandra in the middle of the mountains. Residents will be provided with all high-quality services and free jobs. Each building of the complex is 9 floors high.
