I think many faced such inconvenience as import / export electricity and water resources to other cities. on this screenshot you see quite large numbers and I think you can imagine how many times I had to click a button to buy it (about 700 clicks). in my region this is a big problem, because the energy supply of all cities comes from one power plant in the center of the map.
My suggestion: add the possibility of large purchases, for example, immediately about 1000 or more. Add manual input of necessary resources.
